64Bitz was formed in 2005, to provide database system solutions for business. The Managing Director, Geoff Hirst, who has over 25 years application development experience, wanted to provide solutions to everyday data management problems that companies encounter.
With his connections to the Institute of Analysts and Programmers and the British Computer Society he forged ahead with plans to provide both ad-hoc consultancy and develop a number of applications that had market openings. In early 2006, the British Computer Society made him a Chartered IT Professional and the IAP awarded him a status of Fellow.
To date, 64Bitz has built a diverse range of applications one of which is in use by a UK cable television company for the retrieval of hardware assets. This application has become a key product for 64Bitz, known as Retrieve64.
The most important entity that anyone can give is their time. We will take time to listen and we will take time to provide. 64Bitz is where IT goes to work.
